Holly here from Club Crafted again declaring my love for Mod Melts, especially when used in combination with my favorite silicone gem mold. I realize these gem rings might not be your everyday style, but I gave several to my niece after I made them, and she absolutely loved them! She didn’t want to take the blue one off. You can use them for holidays, parties, or any celebration! Plus, they’re extremely easy to make.

Gather These Supplies

Use Mod Melts to create these fabulous and glittery gem rings. Make them for holidays, parties, dressing up . . . they are easy enough for even a kid to do!Step 1: Heat up the Mod Melter and load desired color of Mod Melts glue. Slowly use the gun to fill a gem mold with layers of Mod Melts glue. Go slowly so that the glue fills each crevice all the way to the top of the mold, and repeat.

Tip: I find that tapping the mold on the countertop after filling a couple layers helps the glue settle to that every crevice is filled.

Step 3: Use the Mod Melter to attach the ring blanks to the flat bottom of the gems.

Step 4: Then paint them as desired! I used a combination of paint and glitter to make the gem rings sparkle. In this case, I painted one layer of color and quickly sprinkled the glitter right on top.
