Hiii – Jessica here from The Confetti Bar, the coolest confetti shop on the block, where we believe happiness should be celebrated! It’s my mission in life to confetti all kinds of things, and party goods are always at the top of the list. These easy DIY party cups are quick to whip up, but will certainly make your next event extra special (and colorful!)
Confetti Dipped DIY Party Cups
Supplies:
- Plastic (or paper) party cups
- Confetti!
- Mod Podge (You can use any kind, really, but if you want to get a little extra fancy, try some Sparkle Mod Podge so you get a subtle glitter effect behind the confetti!)
- Sponge brush (+ a plate to pour the Mod Podge to dip your brush for easy application)
Start by adding a thick layer of Mod Podge to the bottom 1/3 – 1/2 of your party cups.
Then roll your cup in a pile of colorful confetti. (You may need to “press” the confetti on with your hand in some spots.)
Repeat with all of your party cups and let dry completely. *If you want a “fuller” confetti look, once you let the first layer of confetti dry, go back in for a second coat of Mod Podge and confetti.
And there you have it — pretty party-ware that is sure to have your guests eager to toast and shout “Cheers!”
When choosing your perfect color palette, remember we have tons of pre-made confetti options in our shop, but if you want something extra cool we also specialize in custom confetti!
